I started Stari & Co.because growing up in Saudi, we didn’t always have the means to buy much—especially when it came to jewelry. In many Arab and South Asian families, gold is more than an accessory; it’s an heirloom, a legacy. But for families like mine, that kind of luxury wasn’t always within reach.

My mum, a nurse in the Pakistani army with a sharp eye for fashion, had an incredible sense of style and made her own beautiful clothes—but when it came to jewelry, she struggled to find pieces that trulyspoke to her. The affordable options often mimicked gold but lacked personality, quality, or meaningful design. That stuck with me.

Even today, most cheap jewelry brands still lack the character, style, and story that make a piece feel personal. With Stari & Co., I wanted to create expressive, well-crafted jewellery that celebrates heritage while embracing individuality.
